God’s earth: How fantastic is the design, how inscrutable the layout.
God has built a gigantic Theme Park for us, his creation. It is full of awesome beauty and power and wonder. A place of adventure, surprises and challenges.
Everywhere you look, whether you gaze up or down, you can see intricate design and balance. How good must be the mind of Him who thought it up for everywhere and in every creature, there is built a fearsome splendour. Sometimes it is harsh and scolding, sometimes it is soft and pleasurable, but always it’s full of mystery and glory.
It’s the Theme Park.
And the theme is Majesty - the signature of God imprinted like a hallmark on the world He created.
Your journey through God’s Theme Park is your journey through Life. It will test you, it will tantalize you. Sometimes it will traumatise you at sometimes it will thrill you. If you finally make it through all the exhibits He’s got for you, you will find yourself tempered with wisdom and joy.
You’ll get to change your mind about some things and with others, you’ll realise you were right all along! You’ll wish you’d have made a stand and been more definite on some issues, and then you’ll wish you’d have lightened up about others. You will realise some really weren’t so important.
Yes when you look at the sky, or at the creatures, the birds, the cats and dogs we love to pet; when you see the trees and meadows, and all the display of nature – if you believe that God created it then you have to believe that God is good.
