Across the Divide -- a new collection of songs by Dave Scott-Morgan, produced by Martin Smith.

Are you Ready?  I'm still fiddling with the arrangement but it's starting to sound like a real song. Everybody's got a seat at the concert, back stage passes too. Everything is played by me up as yet.
Normal Day - the video

Originally written about the working class -
how they once toiled relentlessly because it was 'their place'.
Now, in 2012, it magically applies to our own Queen Elizabeth who, in the year of the her Jubilee,
has come to personify in the heart of the British nation, the prime example of a lifetime spent in
duty and service.

Across the Divide   It was 'Across the Great Divide' for a minute and the lyric has gone through multiple revisions. This is my demo of the latest incarnation.

Love is...   Love cuts across every divide great or small.

Post War Baby   A legacy from yesteryear. The recording of this track originated in Luis Mi's basement recording studio in Chiva, Spain.

No One Else   I found out what it's all about. I know it's true. This is an inspirational pop song written in 2012. Listening to it I guess it has to be two albums - Across the Divide and Across the Divide. Anyway this one is from Across the Divide .

Currant Bun   This is my production of Alan Smith (aka Arthur C Throovest) singing his epic piece of cold war tom-foolery (Feb 2012). Arthur can be visited at www.throovest.com

Creator Saviour   It's good to talk about the creator who made everything super-well. This song is inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:11 'He has made everything beautiful in it's time'. I love the message it brings and we often sing this one at live shows. See a video idea here.

It's Alright   I love the positive message of this song. Religion might tell you that you've got to do this or that to be right with God but the bible teaches it's all been done for us by the Lord Jesus. All I have to do is believe on him. So this encourages me with that and in a way says: 'Don't panic'.

Numbers 23   This is a scripture song with the verse taken verbatim from Numbers chapter 23 verse 19. I used to segway it with Job 23 when we played live but I always felt it should be a stand alone piece so here I have opened it out with a singspeak section. The backing vocals are by Mandy.  16 Jun 2011.
