Mandy and I played Bethel
Chapel at Lye, near Stourbridge. It was a blessing to be
there and partake of pastor Jill Berrys' wonderful Black
Country leadership style. The day before, Saturday, I had
spoken at their mens' breakfast and during the session, I
brought the song 'Numbers 23' (click the player below to
hear it). The song speaks about the blessing that, once given, cannot be rescinded. Andrew Wommack has been speaking about that this week and that has been a blessing too. Check it out: Numbers23 |

Earth Rise Special Edition It all began with an interview with Ged Eastick (Rock-Legacy.com) over the internet and by phone. That was back in April. Ged had a fire in his belly about the EarthRise album and I caught the buzz from him! At first I felt he must be talking about somebody elses' music, he made it sound so good. But as I got to look at it again and then locate some tracks that were recorded in the original sessions but never released, l got to fall in love with it all over again! So I am working on this new release of EarthRise in conjunction with Ged and of course, with Richard Tandy. Check out the website: http://www.earthrise-tm.net/ |

29 June The recent tragedy at Fukushima has prompted several people in Germany to redirect the message of my song 'Hiroshima'. I know of 3 so far and this is the best one I have seen. Casting around YouTube on this theme I discovered a couple of other related items - This is a creative new version of 'Hiroshima' by Wishful Thinking. This British group was the one who made it a hit originally but then along came this German lady - Sandra Ann Lauer , who with her producer husband Michael Cretu, produced a massive hit for the song in 1990-91. |
