| For eight months, from February to October 2004, I was a part owner of Air Taxis Ltd along with Alan Smith and Mike Chamberlain. To be correct we bought it as Warwickshire Aerocentre Ltd and then changed the name. On 11 October we sold the company with its valuable AOC (Air Operators Certificate number 1418) to an Irish investor. | ||

In 2005, Air Taxis Ltd became Jet Options Ltd and in 2006, began operating a Citation II Jet with the catchy registration G-JETO (below). I continued to work for the company as Chief Pilot and Training Captain, and then as Fleet Manager (pistons). Mike went on to become Operations Manager and Citation rated First Officer. I left in August 2006 but the association continued with my MGA software company writing AOC and management software for them. By early 2009, Jet Options had bought a new Legacy 600, but sadly fell victim to the global financial whirlwind affecting so many. Update: In 2010, Mike Chamberlain works for FlairJet at Oxford, flying Phenom 100 jets. . |
